Strawberries and Cream Energy Thick Shake – Millennial Eats and Low Carb/Light Keto Friendly

So, I am currently in the middle of a short contract that will finish up at the end of the year. This means I am also heavily budget – like most people at the moment. I am also working from home and in the middle of trying to improve my health. So I needed to create a quick, cheap yet low carb smoothie I could whip up in no time! I refer to this recipe as low carb or light Keto friendly, as it does contain carbs but is not heavy on them compared to what the generic version would contain.

The ingredients for this recipe are short and sweet, I highly recommend adding the Macca as it is full of energy and many vitamins that support energy and stress levels, but if you are really strict on the budget you can leave it out.

Ingredients;

– 140g Ripe Strawberries
– 2 Tablespoons sweetener of your choice (I used Erythritol)
– 3 Tablespoons of Full Cream Powdered Milk
– 1/2 Teaspoon of Macca Powder
– 300ml Water
– Ice

Method;

Place together in a blender and whiz until smooth. If you are one of those people with a super sweet tooth you could add an extra tablespoon of sweetener but I am trying to reduce my cravings for sweet things and this was sweet enough for me. Place into a glass and serve with ice.
